With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hurtis Eugene Strawbridge (Blytheville, Arkansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 13, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Laura "Cricket" Robinson Strawbridge; his aunts, Miss Minnie Robinson and Miss Eva Robinson; his wife Hazel Geraldine Hurst; and his daughter-in-law Rinda Brown Strawbridge.
He is survived by: his father Milton "Bridge" Thomas; his children, Mike Strawbridge (Cathy) of Dyersburg, Jimmy Strawbridge (Pam) of Cottonwood Point, Missouri, Sue Alexander (Kenny) of Cooter and Sharon Strawbridge Barger (Gibbs); his grandchildren, April Martin (Heath) of Cooter, Missouri, Scott Strawbridge (Christi), David Strawbridge (Leslie) and Mark Strawbridge of Cottonwood Point, Missouri; his granddaughter-in-law Ruthann Strawbridge of Oakland, Tennessee; his great grandchildren, Chase Strawbridge of Oakland, Tennessee, Madelyn Martin of Starkville, Olivia Martin of Starkville, Jordan Strawbridge of Starkville and Hannah Strawbridge of Oakland; his stepgrandson Troy Frealy; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Georgia Bing and John Michael Deturo of Oakland, Tennessee. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
