Melvin Lampe Obituary
Melvin Lampe, 89, of Blytheville, Arkansas passed away on October 29, 2022 at Great River Medical Center. He was born on March 2, 1933 in Fredrika, Iowa to Clarence and Rosa Korte Lampe. Melvin was in the Air Force for 24 years and was a Senior Master Sergeant;. He fought in two wars which was, Vietnam and the Korean War. He was a lifelong member of the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed doing handyman work, bowling in his spare time, spending time with his grandchildren, and loving on his puppies.
Survivors include; loving wife of 48 years: Mary Ann Lampe of the home; four children: Rhonda Crawford (Marty) of Blytheville, Arkansas, Charles Cornish of Dallas, Texas, Mark Lampe (Sheila) of Blytheville, Arkansas, and Cindy Lampe of Florida; seven grandchildren: Logan, Madison, Mitchell, Kristen, Jeff, Mark, and Jamie; nine great grandchildren: Marleigh, Greyson, Ellie, Jersey, Cash, Kallee, Matthew, Mason and Madalyn; one brother: Virgil Lampe (Pam) of Iowa; two sisters: Darlys Buhrow of Iowa and Geri Piper of Iowa; and a host of other family and friends.
Melvin is preceded in death by; his parents: Clarence and Rosa Korte Lampe; four brothers; and one sister.
The family has requested private arrangements under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
