He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Harris and Mary Harris (Hinson); his wife Velda Harris; and his sisters, Jackie Howell and Jeanette Land.
He is survived by: his children, James Robert Harris (Cindy) of Rochelle, Illinois, Susie Thompson (Jeff) of Scottsville, Meredith Harris of Rockford and Abigail Harris (Colton Moore) of Scottsville, Kentucky; his siblings, Carlos Harris (Frances) of Parkin, Sue Milton (JL) of Wynne, Faye Harris (Charles Alexander) of Parkin, Mary Bowers of Blytheville, Agnes Scanlon (Steve) of Texas and Adale Aultman (Wayne) of Blytheville; and his close friend Donna McPherson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
