She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Tate and Frances Winburn Tate; her husband Harold; and her siblings, JoAnne Mullins, Floyd Tate, Jr. and Frank Tate.
She is survived by: her children, Debra McKay, Larry Newcomb and David Newcomb. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Sally's honor to New Liberty Baptist Church.
