She was predeceased by: her parents, A. A. Hardy and Frances Hardy; and her brother Dudley Hardy. She is survived by: her husband Fred Austin; her sons, Vance Austin (Lisa) of Blytheville and Jason Austin (Dana) of Blytheville; her brother Bill Hardy (Clorita) of Blytheville; her sisters-in-law, Mary Hardy of Fayetteville and Aloma Reed (Vernie) of Crawfordsville, Arkansas; and her grandchildren, Abby Austin, Hayes Austin, Allie Austin and Aspen Austin.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (715 W Walnut St, Blytheville, AR 72315). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Sara's honor to First Baptist Church Bereavement or Flower Fund, 715 W. Walnut St, Blytheville, Arkansas 72315.
