He is survived by: his son James Thompson of Blytheville, Arkansas; and his stepchildren, Dewayne, Steven Wagner of Manila, Robert Wagner of Iowa and Tammy Holley of Tennessee. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
