She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Smart and Hattie Mae Rickman Smart; her husband Chester Eugene Penney; and her siblings, Charles Donald Smart, Terry Smart, Mildred Smart and Wilma Dean Smart.
She is survived by: her sons, Barry Penney (Tammy) of Blytheville and Scotty Penney of Blytheville; her siblings, R. L. Smart of Piggott, Rex Smart (Brenda) of Piggott and Sue McCullogh of Piggott; her grandchildren, Jonathan Penney (Miranda), Rebecca McKinney (Steve) and Kaitlyn Penney (Steven Arroyo); and her great grandchildren, Blaiklynn Penney, Ella McKinney, Autumn McKinney, Kimberly McKinney, Malachi Arroyo and Colter Arroyo.
