He was predeceased by: his brothers, Leon and Ralph; and his son Roger. He is survived by: his wife Ingeborg; his son Steve; his brother Bruce; his stepson Uwe Schimanski; and his daughters-in-law, Mary and Karin. He is also survived by 5 granddaughters and their husbands, one grandson, 9 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
