She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Deen and Ida Gray Deen; her husband Harold Carpenter; and her siblings, Audrey Marshall, Guy Garvin, Paralee Taylor, Cleo Deen, Midge Duggar, Cleatis Jackson Deen, Cloma Deen, Gladys Cook and Charles Alfred Deen.
She is survived by: her siblings, Floyd Junior Deen and Patsy Deen Forcum; and her great-niece Magan Robb. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
