We bid farewell to Joyce Marie Rushing of Booneville, Arkansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 13, 2025 at the age of 86. Joyce touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy Brannam and Margaret Brannam Bobbit (Basinger); her husband Albert S. Rushing; her siblings, Richard Brannam, Larry Brannam, Doris Jean Robinson and Rose Esther Covey; her daughter-in-law Laura Hise; and her sister-in-law Penny Brannam.
She is survived by: her sons, James Hise of Booneville, Stanley Hise of Hope, Freddy Sutphin (Dawn) of Cecil and Hank Sutphin (Kristy) of Lavaca; her siblings, Damon Brannam of Hackett, Ruth Walker (Archie, Sr.) of Sugar Grove, Brenda Birge (Tom) of New Blaine, Martha Smith of Magazine and Marilyn Burrows (Rickie) of Charleston; and her stepgrandchildren, Michael Hise, Jessica Staton, Toby Sutphin, Shawn Sutphin, Shelby Sutphin, Kyler Varnell, Laten Sutphin and Breanna Sutphin. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; and (5) great-great-grandchildren.
