He was predeceased by : his parents, Chester Monroe and Helen Carroll Monroe; his wife Mary Allice Gordon Monroe; and his siblings, Jim Monroe, Juanita Thompson and Rebecca Booth.
He is survived by : his son Ted Jackson Monroe, Jr. of Bradley, AR; and his sister-in-law Doris Monroe of Dallas, TX. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flower memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Magnolia, AR.
