With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fern Strickland Derrick of Brinkley, Arkansas, who passed away on October 22, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Robie Strickland and Alma Carlock Strickland; and her brother Jack Strickland. She is survived by : her husband James "Red" Derrick; her children, Stacy Lynn Eary of Paragould, Nena Michaelis of Colt and Robin Baxter (Jason) of Brinkley; her grandchildren, Katy Jones (Robert), Robert Michaelis (Natalie), Tabitha Jumper (Zakk), Emma Eary, Dillon Nash and Haley Hambrick (Cody); and her sister Leatrice Traylor of Moro. She is also survived by her family and grandchildren.
