He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest Loewer and Elizabeth Marie Loewer; his son William "Bill" Charles Loewer; and his siblings, Kathryn Loewer and Ernest Loewer Jr..

He is survived by : his wife Patricia; his children, Larry Loewer (Bobbie Lynn), David Loewer (Lisa) and Patricia Robertson (Scott); his sister Martha J. Caudle; his grandchildren, Andrew Harvey, Bailey Robertson, Ava Robertson, Kathryn Breaux and Laura Loewer; and his great grandchildren, Brooks Harvey, Hudson Paul Harvey and Wren Breaux.
