She was predeceased by: her parents, John R. Hathcoat and Effie Hathcoat (Stallings); her husband Thurman Thompson Sr.; and her daughter Jeannie Smith Henderson. She is survived by: her children, Thurman "Bubby" Thompson (Karen), Dale Thompson, Donna Luster and Debbie Albert (Randall); and her sister Patsy Smith.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home (1900 W Washington Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
