She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

“Kim, Keena & Cindy, I have to tell you a funny story that happened one day at AHTD Computer Services. Carolyn, Brenda, Bobo & Mary were all in the office. I worked in the Computer Room & came to deliver a report. I have a sensitive nose. So I got out to Carolyn's desk, and said, Carolyn you stink! Everyone looked at me but she looked at me like I couldn't possibly said what she heard. It turned out to be her perfume & it smelled like burning wires to me! We all laughed. Carolyn not so much!”
