We announce the death of John R. Bailey of Bryant, Arkansas, born in Little Rock, Arkansas, who passed away on September 14, 2026, at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bailey and Evelyn Bailey; and his wife Sharon Bailey (Paxon). He is survived by: his sister Judy Bailey Hutcheson (Butch) of Benton; his children, Matthew Renvil Bailey (Brooke N. Brown) of Washington, D. C., Anna Marie Bowman (Brad) of Mabelvale and Sarah Beth Voth (Jared) of Benton; and his grandchildren, Christina, Corley, Paxon, Cash, Evie, Charis, Lucie, Cedar, Josiah, Elliot and Everly.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Home (322 N Market St, Benton, AR 72015). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Life Church (9415 Stagecoach Rd, Little Rock, AR 72210). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Rosemont Cemetery (1010 Military Rd, Benton, AR 72015).
