She was predeceased by: her son Kenneth Hayes; her parents, Theotis Hayes and Mable Lee Davis; her stepfather Willie Louis Davis; and her siblings, Odovia McCoy and Elvin Gamble, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Keysha Hayes, Charles Hayes, Teresa Brown and Erron Hayes; and her siblings, Carol Wyrick, Rena Houston, Rose Hunter, Jessie Gamble, Wendy Thompson, Willie Davis, Jr., Kwanis Davis and Moony Davis. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
