We announce the death of Roy Thomas Mitchell of Bryant, Arkansas, born in Humboldt, Tennessee, who passed away on October 8, 2026, at the age of 82. Roy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, James O. Mitchell Sr. and Sarah Elizabeth Dobbins Mitchell; his wife Linda Mitchell; his siblings, James O. Mitchell Jr. and Mary Elizabeth McDermott; his grandson Zachary Clifton Peach; his nephew Paul McDermott; and his pet Rex.
He is survived by: his children, Margo Peach (Jackie) and Michael Mitchell (Mandi); and his pet Sadie. He is also survived by niece, nephews, a host of other family & friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (6707 Dollarway Rd, White Hall, AR 71602).
