She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest; her parent Oscar; and her brother-in-law John Cravens. She is survived by: her children, Shelley Vanlandingham (David) and Derek Barnett (Kylene); her grandchildren, Branson Vanlandingham (Catie), Grace Vanlandingham, Ava Barnett and Kieran Barnett; her siblings, Albert West, Vivian Novak (Elvin), Joyce Blair (Reynold), Dewey West (Katie) and Martha Cravens; and her pet Rossi.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pinecrest Funeral Home (7401 AR-5, Alexander, AR 72002). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Park Place Baptist Church (22208 I-30 Frontage Rd, Bryant, AR 72022).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Baptist Missionary Association America (BMAA), Just the Crumbs Ministries, We Are FREE, or Little Rock Compassion Center in memory of Shirley.
