He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira W. Hines and Maudie Sheridan Hines; his wife Barbara Sue Hines; and his brothers, J. D., Clarence, Jimmy and Herman Hines.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Hines (Rebecca), Paul Hines, Eugenia Sledd (John) and Debra Bellinger (Randy); and his sister Darla Duncan. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
