He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Marvin Alexander and Colleen Sheffield Alexander; his stepmother Zelma Alexander Foley; and his siblings, Carmon Moon and Homer Romar Alexander.

He is survived by: his wife Teresa Alexander; his children, Jason Alexander (Doris) and Gina Isaacs (Sidney); his sisters, Linda Kitchens, Sandra Arrowood, Verna Bragg (Ron) and Verlan McCool (Kenneth); his stepchildren, Anthony McLaren (Kristine) and Angel McLaren; and his stepgranddaughter Ilexcya McLaren. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
