It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Murphy of Cabot, Arkansas, born in El Dorado, Arkansas, who passed away on December 18, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Clark Murphy and Velma Marie Nowlin Murphy; his wife Judy Murphy; and his brothers, George Murphy and Homer Murphy Jr..

He is survived by: his children, Tina Taylor (Robert) of Cabot, Eugene Murphy (Samantha) of El Dorado and Douglas Murphy (Dee) of El Dorado; his grandchildren, Douglas A. Murphy (Melissa), Chuck Murphy (Danika), Jessica Watt, Amber Murphy, Whitney Murphy, Blake Taylor, Alesha Amber, Jordan Blakesley, Trinessa Tatum and Stephon Brice; and his sister Claudia LaRoux of Shreveport. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tina and Robert Taylor to help with expenses or to the UCAPS in El Dorado.
