He was predeceased by: his parents, John Paul Cossey and Ruby Lovina Cossey (Cole); his son Robbie Cossey; and his siblings, Thurman Cossey, Sam Cossey and Barbara Bradford.
He is survived by: his son John Cossey (Bridgett) of Greenbrier; his grandson Tyler Cossey of Fayetteville; his daughter Shannon Cossey of California; and his brother Leslie Cossey (Paulette) of Beebe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
