He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Kenneth Blackwell, Edward Arnold and Billy Hale. He is survived by: his parents, Thomas Blackwell and Sharon Blackwell (Robert Ferrington); his wife Gena Blackwell; his children, Jordan Cook (Tyler), Austin and Tristen Anderson; his grandchildren, Zoei, Jennifer and Quentin; his stepmother Misty Smith; his siblings, Christopher Blackwell and Kathryn Ogilvie; and his grandmothers, Susie Hale, Fannie Arnold and Evelyn Blackwell.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home (1504 N J P Wright Loop Rd, Jacksonville, AR 72076). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
