It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Effie Jean Jones of Cabot, Arkansas, born in Ashdown, Arkansas, who passed away on March 18, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father William Bradford; her husband Thaddeus Irving Jones; and her brother Billy Joe Hinton. She is survived by : her children, Carolan Mahr (Dennis) of Cape Coral and Amanda Watkins (Keith) of Ward, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Joshua Watkins (Christina) and Whitney Reed (David); her great grandchildren, Wyatt Watkins, Sawyer Reed, Ellie Watkins and Tinley Reed; her sisters, Ann Cobb of Little Rock and Carol Warren of Bossier City; and her sister-in-law Jeannette Hinton of Texarkana. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
