It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Dean McCarty of Cabot, Arkansas, born in Urbana, Illinois, who passed away on August 28, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leotis McCarty and Vivian McCarty (Davis); his siblings, Vestal Ray McCarty and Shirley Ann Jones; his son Vestal Alan McCarty; and his grandson Robert Michael Silva.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn McCarty of Cabot; his daughters, Connie McCarty of Carrollton and Sherry Wooley (Charles) of Little Rock; and his sister Sally Jo Marlatt (Dave) of Danville, Ill.. He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
