He is survived by: his wife Dixie Whitney (Reiff); his children, Jason "Louie" Whitney (Amy) of Cabot, Amanda "Jane" Whitney of Cabot, Leah "Lelah" Whitney of Cabot, Angelina Whitney of Cabot, Emiliano Whitney of Cabot, Josh Whitney (Sandy) and Jody Whitney (Thuy) of Texas; his siblings, Linda Dent (Lester) of Kansas, Nancy Whitney of Texas, Lloyd Whitney (Glenda) of Texas, DeAnn Holland (Dave) of Iowa, Denise Myers (Don) of Iowa and Doreen Buelt (Brian) of Illinois; and his friend Linda Thomas. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
