She was predeceased by : her parents, Chalon Brown and Fanny Brown; her husband Kefton Jarrett; her sons, Craig Griffen Dannie Jarrett and Keith Jarrett; and her siblings, Louise Hansen, William Basil Brown, James Brown and Richard Brown.

She is survived by : her daughters, Linda Thornton, Katina Keel, Tonya Brown and Patti Niebuhr; and her grandson Joshua Jarrett. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Gwendolyn's name to Jubilee Family Church.
