He was predeceased by: his parents, James Silas and Agnes Opal Talley Taylor; his sons, Mitchell and Brian Taylor; and his sisters, Betty Ellis and Joyce Steiner.

He is survived by: his daughters, Trena Ferrell of Malvern and Brenda Taylor of Hot Springs; his grandchildren, Toby Thompson, Leslie Fitzhugh, Michael Paul Stallman and Stephanie Stallman; his great grandchildren, Colby Fitzhugh, Foster, Max and Oakley Stallman; his former wife Darlene Taylor; and his brothers, David and Bob Taylor. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
