It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Batey Stroud of Cabot, Arkansas, born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, who passed away on April 6, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Douglas Batey and Tressie Crafton Batey; and her daughter Ashley. She is survived by : her husband Al Stroud; her son Jarrod Stroud (Allison Burton); her siblings, Barbara Batey and Rick Batey (Laura); her grandchildren, Taylor Burton, Kylen Thomas and Emily Thomas; and her nieces and nephews, Courtney Landrum (Daniel), Katherine Wilkerson (Mike), Meredith Batey, Melanie Batey and Todd Langley (Michelle).

The Stroud family asks that donations be made in Marilyn's name to the Cabot United Methodist Church food pantry.
