She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Pearl Joseph King and Wilson Breckenridge King; and her siblings, Sam Joseph, Viva Joseph Shipley and Letha Joseph Hoggard.

She is survived by: her pet Johnny; and her nieces and nephews, Sherry Shipley Means, Cathy Shipley, Steve Shipley, Pam Hoggard Cook, Mark Hoggard, Douglas Joseph, Warren Joseph, Jason Joseph, Janet Joseph Woods and Laura Joseph Newman.
