He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Pilck Whitfield; his children, Lindsey Boatman (Seth), Cindy Rowe (Roger) and Mike Whitfield; and his siblings, Barbara Bailey, Jerry Whitfield and Virginia Quinn. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
