He was predeceased by: his parents, Abner Oxner and Bertha Oxner; his wife Joan Quarton Oxner; his siblings, Viola Collins, Viona Arrwood, Pearl Whitlock, Norvil Oxner, Leonard Oxner and Harvey Oxner; and his grandson Zachary Gaither.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Oxner Patrick, Wayne Oxner (Karen), Julie Gaither (David) and Sharon Strickland (Mitch); and his grandchildren, Christopher, Lauren, Shelby, Ashley, Kami, Lacey, Brooke, Spencer, Carter, Ava, Tristan, Adam, Lenny, Starr, Taey, Brea, Kaleb, Lilly, Aiden, Haliegh, Lucy, Norah, Gavin, Eve and Chandler. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Sumner Cemetery (13603-14051 Sumner Cemetary Rd, Cabot, AR 72023).
