He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Foshee Stapleton; and his stepson James "Tadpole" Holt. He is survived by: his children, Anita Walde of Glencoe, Jimmy Dale Stapleton, Jr. (Jandel) of Wideman, Jamie Stapleton of Calico Rock, Danielle Stapleton of Melbourne, Justin Parker of Vilonia, Allyce Parker (Jeremy) of Elkins, Kay Burns of Mountain Home, Robby Holt of Calico Rock, Wayne Beard, Jr. of Pineville, Angel Duncan (Ricky) of Pineville and Daniel Coy of Pineville, Mason; and his brother Larry Stapleton. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren 2 great great grandchildren and a cousin.
