He was predeceased by: his parents, B. W. Alexander and Martha Alexander Griggs (Jordan); his son Bobby Alexander, Jr.; his siblings, James, Rickey Alexander, Barbara Norris, Rosella Brown, Peggy Norris and Phyllis Vining; and his nephew Brad Strode.
He is survived by: his daughter Heather Rivers; his sister Patsy (Dewey Strode); his grandchildren, Jordan, Joshua Elliott, Jayla Morris, Rebecca Christie (Johnathan) and Britney Howland; his great grandchildren, Julian, Paisley, Ta'Huni, Ainslee and Jonah; his caregiver Judy Avitts; Angie Schanzlin and Tanya Clemons. He is also survived by his family and friends.
