He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Venable and Rena Venable (Peace); his son David Todd Venable; his siblings, John Venable (Sue) of Camden, Morris Venable (Elizabeth) of Camden, Linda Harrison of Camden and Vernelle Lawler (Ernest) of Phoenix, AZ.; his nephew Frank Venable of Camden; and his great-nephew Tim Knowles of Harrison Ar.
He is survived by: his wife Terrie Venable of Camden; his children, Sam Venable (Lynne), Jamie Venable (Joy) of Camden and Wendy Hausman of Camden; his grandchildren, Lydia Hurst (David), Tymathea Venable, Blake Freeman (Aura) and Anthony Hausman; his great grandchildren, Halyn, Daren, Sammy J Hurst, Aeron, Leo Freeman, Autumn and Jacob Venable; and his brother-in-law Merle Harrison.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethesda Cumberland Presbyterian Church (395 Ouachita Rd 47, Camden, AR 71701). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
