It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Caldwell of Camden, Arkansas, born in Grapevine, Arkansas, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Willie Oldner and Nellie Vaughan Oldner; her husband Winnon Caldwell; her brother Johnny Oldner; and her son-in-law James Moses.

She is survived by : her daughters, Martha Moses of Missouri and Anna Marie Buckner (Richard) of Louisiana; her sister Ann Raines of Arkansas; and her grandchildren, Jim Moses of Florida, Tamara Bradley of Tennessee, Karrie Sandoval of Missouri, Terrie Huff of Missouri, Susan Middleton (Jonathan) of Louisiana, Kathy Sitagata (Pep) of Louisiana, Otis Allen of California and Jeff Allen of Louisiana. She is also survived by great-great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Proctor Funeral Home (442 Jefferson St SW, Camden, AR 71701). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Dorothy fought a long battle with Alzheimer's. Dorothy worked at Camden Hospital and retired in 1989 after 30 years of service.
