She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Powell and Cassie Howard Powell; her brothers, Shelby Powell and Thurman Powell; and her daughter Dollie Lucille Wright.
She is survived by: her brother Sherman Powell; her grandchildren, Amber McRay, Brittany Wright and Daniel Carter; and her close friend Diane Issac (Tiffany Issac). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
