He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hershel Manning and Dorothy V. White Manning; his sons, James Matthew Manning and Zachary Brian Hooper; his brother Jimmy Don Manning (Joy); his siblings-in-law, Ricky Floyd and Julie Bradshaw Hartsfield; and his pets, PJ, Zooey and Benji.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Gaye Bradshaw Manning; his daughter Nifty Dawn Manning Green; his grandchildren, Matthew Ryder Howard and Julia Dawn Green; his sister Judy Ruth Manning Finney (Steve); and his sister-in-law Ruth Ellen Burke. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Proctor Funeral Home (442 Jefferson St SW, Camden, AR 71701). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Fairview United Methodist Church (2603 Mt Holly Rd SW, Camden, AR 71701).
