He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Reese, Hazel Proffitt, Elmer and Eula Starr; and his cousins, Mark Starr, Jason Starr, Keith Starr, Michael Nutt and Gerald Nutt.
He is survived by: his parents, William H. Proffitt and Shirley Ann Starr Proffitt; his wife Christi Proffitt; his mother-in-law Connie Griffis; his children, Averi, Abbigayle Proffitt, Matthew Ault (Jacey) and John David Ault (Crystal); his siblings, DeWayne Proffitt (Deborah) and Tammy Allen (Hoyt); his grandchildren, Dallas Ault, Shayne Ault, Aleena Ault, Haydn Balance, Quinnlee Ault and Skylee Ault; and his close friend Lexi Ann Proffitt. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (319 US-278, East Camden, AR 71701). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church or Gideon Bibles.
