He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas R.; and his siblings, Jimmie Harrington, Jean Pennington, Viva McAdoo, J. T. Vaughan, Russell Vaughan, Curtis "Fat" Vaughan, Buddy Vaughan and Alfous Vaughan.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Vaughan of Camden, AR; his children, Dale Vaughan of Camden, AR, Allen Vaughan of Camden, AR, Justin Vaughan (Mae) of Huntsville, AL and Becky Snider (Jordan) of San Antonio, TX; and his siblings, Calvin Vaughan (Brenda) of Hot Springs, AR and Margaret "Monkey" Thomas of Camden, AR. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
