Loyd Hunter Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on November 23, 2025, at the age of 73, Loyd Hunter of Camden, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Loyd may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Loyd touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Loyd and Jackie Ruth Dyson Hunter; and his grandparents, Earnest, Nellie Dyson, E. L. "Shorty" and Edna Mae Hunter.
He is survived by: his wife Sherri Carter Hunter of Camden, AR; his children, Jacob Hunter (Peyton) of Princeton, LA, Haley Riley (Andrew) of Stephens, AR, Lisa Thurman (Keith) of El Dorado, AR and Amy Hunter of Broken Arrow, OK; and his brother Mark Hunter of Magnolia, AR.. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
