He was predeceased by: his wife Judy May Stennett; his parents, Homer Stennett and Bradis Stennett (Smith); his siblings, Billy N. Stennett and Jean Stennett Jarvis; and his stepdaughter Judy Melisa "Missy" Johnson.

He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Robin Stennett-Leak (Thurman Leak III) of Camden, Arkansas; his stepsons, Tim Johnson (Jessica) and Agee Johnson; his grandchildren, Chassidy Kaye Stennett and Makaia Howard; his stepgrandchildren, Tyson Johnson, John Johnson, Jeremy Johnson and Julie Johnson Smith; and his great grandchild Jade Starr Stennett.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethesda Cemetery.
