He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Edwards and Lorain Edwards; his daughters, Debra Ashworth and Angela Wineland; his grandson Gregory Wineland Jr.; his siblings-in-law, Betty Cook Warlick and Ronald Smith; and his in-laws, Alton and Teddy Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry O'Shan Cook Edwards; his children, Jason Michael Edwards of Camden and Laura Allison Kauffman (Brad) of Longview, TX.; his sisters, Susan Smith and Cynthia Wright of Hot Springs; his son-in-law Greg Wineland Sr.; his grandchildren, Layne Wineland, Johnathan Ashworth, Nikkolet Etter (Dorian) and Allison Kauffman (Juan); his siblings' children, Janet Warlick, Susannah Wright and David Warlick; his great grandchildren, Ezra Wineland, Oaklynn Kauffman and Wrenlee Kauffman; and his aunt Jean Coates.
