She was predeceased by: her parents, James Obie and Annabelle Ever Burton; her husband James Walker Knight, Jr. (J. W.); her daughter Reesa Ann Knight; and her brother Bobby R. Burton.
She is survived by: her son James Walker Knight III (Jay); her son-in-law Robert Steelman; her grandchildren, Keith Dewayne Knight (Annie), Brittan Ashlea Tuberville (Rian), Jessica Roth (Mark), Jason Knight (Britney), James Obie Knight (Kaylee) and Sarah Louise Bartholomew (Zachary); and her siblings, Dale Burton, JB Burton (Becky), Kenith Burton (Helen), Freda Estridge (Marshal) and Tina Bussell (Joppie). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; and her three brothers.
