Joyce Holt Obituary

Joyce Holt, age 81, of Caraway, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 26, 1944, to Buddy and Alline Pendergrass. Joyce was a dedicated member of Lepanto First Assembly of God, where she found comfort and strength in her faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Buddy and Alline Pendergrass; her beloved spouse, Bob Holt; her son, David Monroe; her great grandson, Maddox Winford; and her siblings, Inez Terry and Bill Pendergrass.

Joyce is survived by her children Sheila Campbell of Lake City, AR, Michael (Melodie) Holt of Caraway, AR, Daniel (Kerry) Holt of Bellevue, NE, and Kathy Campbell of Lake City, AR. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, all of whom will forever cherish her memory. She is also survived by her siblings: Linda Brewer of Black Oak, AR, James (Linda) Pendergrass of Monette, AR, Donnie (Laverne) Pendergrass of Monette, AR, Horace (Barbara) Pendergrass of Rivervale, AR, Bonnie Griffin of Otwell, AR, Connie (Tommy) Smith of Tyronza, AR, and Sue Pendergrass of Caraway, AR and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation and the funeral service will both be held at First Assembly of God in Lepanto, AR. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 15, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with the funeral service on Wednesday, July 16, beginning at 10:00 AM. Brother Gary Finley will be officiating the services.

Pallbearers will be Joyce's nephews, who will honor her memory with love and respect as they carry her to her final resting place.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Monette Manor for their compassionate care, kindness, and support during Joyce's final days. Your dedication brought great comfort to both Joyce and her loved ones.
