The memory of Glenda S. Sutton of Carlisle, Arkansas, who passed away on June 19, 2025 at the age of 82, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Shelman and Evelyn Shelman; her brother Don Shelman; her granddaughter Kaylie Lee; and her former husband H. D. King.
She is survived by: her husband Vernon Jay Sutton; her children, Dustin Weddle and Stacy Bivens (Henry); her stepson Jason Sutton; her siblings, Nancy Douglas, Jimmy Shelman (Ginger) and Gary Shelman; her grandchildren, Dillon Lee and Meghan King; her great grandchildren, Kierra Lee, Kasyn Weems, Keaton Weems and Eden Weems; and her sister-in-law Sarah Shelman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Landmark Baptist Church (517 E 3rd St, Carlisle, AR 72024). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
