He was predeceased by: his parents, J. R. "Pete" McCracken and Willie Faye Johnson McCracken; his sister Maureen Fontana; his grandchildren, Robby McCracken, Colton Bray and Sydney Bray; Erbin Perkey.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Perkey McCracken; his children, James Dale McCracken, Lisa Bray and Regina Hutchinson; and his siblings, Erbie Perkey, Jean McCracken and Barbara Qualls. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
