He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Reid and Lillian Reid; and his siblings, Walt Reid, John Reid and Susan Reid.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Reid; his daughter Shelly Simmons (Jonathan) of Cave City; his sister Sara Hodges (Mike) of Kansas City, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Lauren Simmons and Mason Simmons. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
