He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carter and Annis Carter (Napier); and his brothers, Rodney and Roger Carter. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Carter; his children, Virginia Murray (Bobby) of Cedarville and Roger Carter (Stacey); his siblings, Patricia Reed (Paul), Jessica Hancock and Butch Dobbs (Jenna); and his close friends, Bill Allen, Steven Pannell, Aaron Morton and Ron Phillips. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
